MMMM Live Octopus

We went for dinner with Rich's school yesterday and for the most part it was not bad. However, we were served live octopus as an appetizer. They took one octopus and cut it into small pieces, but the tentacles were still moving around the plate. When the Korean's tried to pick up the octopus it would crawl away. It was actually hard not to laugh, thankfully we avoided eating any.

1920s Party

Last weekend we had a 1920s murder mystery party. I was the bar owner and Rich was the detective. We had so much fun, but our apartment got trashed. I felt like I as at a first year University party.

No heat on Tues and Thurs

The weather in Korea is slowly dropping and things are getting a little cold. The only problem is I work at a ghetto school and we don't have a heating system. All we have to keep warm is a little electric space heater in our classroom.

The space heater is nothing great, but it works. However, I was recently informed that I must not use this heater on Tuesday and Thursday. At first I could not figure out why Tuesdays and Thursdays were such bad days to use a heater. I was then told that the dentist comes on Tuesday and Thursday.

I guess when the dentist comes our electrical system cannot handle all the extra power he uses. As a result the dentist was working on a child's mouth and the power cut out. I guess this was cause for concern. So to cut down on the amount of power the school uses we cannot use our space heaters on Tues. and Thurs.

Oh I love Korea.
